Berthing

Oban Transit Marina (North Pier)

Pontoons are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Transit Marina in Oban Bay, North Pier.

Rafting up is acceptable and use of both sides of the breakwater is permitted for Rib Rendezvous participants.

Please note — first come truly means first served for everyone… cruise liners, submarines or RIBs alike.

Size or grandness doesn’t count — being early does.

Kerrera Marina

Kerrera Marina will be available to accommodate Rib Rendezvous boats and is expected to be the main social hub over the weekend.

A passenger ferry shuttle will run between Kerrera Marina and Oban North Pier.

Capacity is limited, so please expect some delays at busy times.

Fuel Code of Conduct

For safety and efficient flow during Rib Rendezvous, all skippers are expected to follow basic fuelling discipline:

• No smoking or naked flames

• Engines off while refuelling

• Crew member to act as fuel lookout

• Maintain safe spacing between boats

• Fuel slowly and deal with spills immediately

• Ventilate before restarting engines

• Follow marina staff instructions

• Move clear promptly once fuelled

Each skipper remains fully responsible for the safe fuelling and operation of their own vessel.

Important Participation Note

Each skipper is solely responsible for their vessel, crew, navigation decisions, insurance and compliance with maritime regulations at all times.

Event organisers facilitate communications and social coordination only and do not direct or control vessel movements.

Sponsors support the social and shoreside elements of the gathering and hold no operational authority or liability in relation to participating boats.
